Useful Information for writing quizes.
One of my hobies is writing & comparing pub quizes for my local pub, The Hammer & Pincers. I have been writing at least one general knowledge quiz a week for over 4 years now and I believe that I have become quite proficient in this art. Here you can down load many of my past quizes. You may use them as you wish, for your own pub quizes or just for your own entertainment. However, some questions in each quiz are topical questions on current affairs. These questions may have to be re-phrased & some scrapped for the quiz to work. For example, Who won the Super Bowl last week? would be re-phrased Who won the Super Bowl in 1997?
Every question on this page has been tried & tested in at least 1 publilc house in Sheffield UK, so there should be little chance of there being any disputes. If there is a dispute, remember, the quiz master is always right. Some quizes may have a theme eg. the answers are in alphabetical order, see if you can spot them. The questions are in Word 6.0 format & have both questions & answers.
The filename gives an indication when the quiz was used in the Hammer & Pincers.
