I am leaving Sheffield Hallam University to take up a new job in Wellington, New Zealand in early 2004.

Some of you may know me by my previous name, Innes Jelly. The name may be different, but I am still here, in my role as Reader in Computing within the School of Computing and Management Sciences.

Research

I am a Reader in the School of Computing and Management Sciences here at Sheffield Hallam University. My research area covers many aspecs of distributed software development, including architectures and technologies for large scale distributed systems, performance and security within web-based systems, performance evaluation of databases, hardware/software co-design. I have recently become involved in a multidisciplinary project entitled "The Exploration and Development of Tools for Active Reading and Electronic Texts".
